I have an ABIT NF7S, I had it stable at 212x8.5 my cpu can't handle anymore speed! so in order to get a few more 3dmarks I decided to play with the agp speed the other day, I got it all the way up to 80 Mhz I figure pci is at 40! and everything was stable! but now I have no sound , I tried putting the sound card in 4 and 6 speaker mode and sound comes out of everyother connector except the middle one! its weird, windows detects sound the nforce panel sound bars move when i lay an mp3 just no sound coming from the connector. what's goin on? have I killed something by upping the AGP/PCI? I tried some headphones and no sound either, so I know its not the speakers!!!!

HEEEEEELLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPP

Have you tried clearing the cmos and starting over? If you clear it and still don't get any sound, then I'd say you screwed something up:(

It's possible, through all of the changes, the BIOS was corrupted. May want to get a ABIT NF7-S nForce2 BIOS Survival Kit (http://www.excaliberpc.com/product_info.php?cPath=156_157&products_id=918) if ya have version 1.2.

AGP and PCI are independent for nforce2. The PCI was at 33MHz.

South bridge being cooled? Alot of people experience USB/Mouse/Keyboard/Sound probs if sb isnt being cooled.

OK, I´ve tried everything! clearing cmos, reflashing bios, running everything at stock speed. Nothing worked! looks like its RMA time for me! :( :( :( hey who knows, maybe I´ll get an rev1.2 in exchange for this 1.1!
