Chris is know for being a fraud here in Las Vegas with hours of setup of each trick.

The half lady was is known here in Vegas as she has no legs. Mated up with fake legs she was easy to pull apart. Notice the camera starts to shake around the goes out of focus, eventually she disappears cause she is so fast to get away with no legs. Then the crowd reaction.

The suspended person was with a high test fishing monofiliment line from a crane. She does a back bend over it and suspends her weight on it. Notice the crease in the shirt when its done. It will pull tight to her back, not hang as gravity would make it hang naturally.

So many other tricks are setup here in Vegas for production. Kinda like the chevy vette on the parking lot garage. They cut frame, rolled in the car and whamo, instant car for home viewers.

The levitation are all crane w/ wire, notice how unstable the takeoff and landing is. He has no balance when he is first lifted.

When he cut himself in half, notice the table where it seperates. Notice the direction of the rotation of the saw blade.

Notice the way the table swings where you cant see the cut even though the blade is not as wide as the table yet it all cuts in half. Once cut the table swings away from the cameras.

When ever he wants drama they will shake the camera out of focus (girl cut in half, electrocution,...)

When he does a trick here in Vegas, the public is sealed off. It is all insiders and hours of setup. Nothing is real, he relies on his stunt team to setup the crowd reaction.

The millions of volts was also a complete sham, he was completely safe and faked the tragic end as the whol stunt sucked and it added a very dramatic effect. When it all went bad the camera started to shake way out of control and went blurry and they gave it a spin that he was in grave danger.

The one where the hummer drives over him is fake if you look on of the sides of the thing it drives up is longer meaning that when one wheel went off the ramp 3 were still on which would mean no weight accually went on him, kinda amusing watching his fake pain at the end when there were little to no holes on his back

I have to say, I like David Blaine's street magic better. I know that there's an explanation, but he's overall a nicer guy, and performs the tricks much better and with style. He also does a lot in NY, I've met him before..

yes, david blaine is much more of how real magic is done(real as in traditional), with misdirection and quick hands. not gimmicks and stunt crews. real magic is alot about communicating with people, you need to be able to interact with people in a way that you can move their focus easily. much more psychological.
