right now I have this reservoir, that has 150ml http://www.webshop-innovatek.de/images/pmp.jpg

question is: Would another maybe at least 250ml RES improve performance?
Or would just hurt the flow?

if you want best perfomance. dont use a res at all, use a t-line

a t-line would improve performace... a bit

once again T-Line will increase performance just enough to detect the increase with high quality flow measuring devices.

btw Red.SkY, did you get my pm at all?

Not really.
Also reservoirs are generally made of Acrylic or something similar, so theyre not exactly the best heatsinks for the hot water.

T line would improve performance by like .00000000001 per cent. Still, reservoirs are better for the ease of filling/draining.

thats the exact reason i use a res

Honestly I can't really see how either would matter. I would think that the Tline would give slightly worse performance because that water is always in the line.

The water in the res would be able to get out of the loop briefly and possibly letting it get close to ambient before being pulled back into the loop. With water in a Tline it only has the time in the radiator to cool, it's either in the pump, GPU block or CPU block. If you are loading both the CPU and GPU the water is going to get warm anyways. I don't think either is going to make a hell of alot of difference - might make more a bit of diff with a single 120 radiator though.

Currently using a Tline - however I've used both with a single 120 rad and it seems my temps are like 1 deg higher with the Tline when I get gaming for awhile.
