Heyheyhey here are my first test runs. Sys is in signature except for a Bad Axe Mobo. More to come, just warming up... BTW 85° Core temperature *haha* (kiss my ass Bad Axe!)

1.475v Core, 1.9v ddr2, 1.65v and 1.3v (dunno how them are called. hey this is my first intel sys since 6 years)

Yeah i need faster memory for better times!

vcore = 1.441v
mch = 1.725v
fsb bolt = 1.395v
vdimm = 2.2v

Where can I set tRAS ? In Bios it's locked

eva2000
06-30-2006, 09:39 AM
you sure .... i'm using my own custom modded 1304 bios but haven't shorted oc debug pin yet i just set custom vcore to 1.441v real (1.5v bios) and flash and use that heh

you should be able to set tRAS if you change SDRAM control option to user defined for memory timings instead of automatic or user defined-aggressive

Forget about, I just didn't do it right. I'm running 416 3-3-3-8 now still at 1.9v :O

Edit: 32M stable, not bad...I love G.Skill :)

What G.Skill 2x1024mb HZ do you use? PC1000?

I'm impressed, especially on air. :)

Thanks for sharing sai, you give us peeps shooting for 3.6+ on non-phased E66's one more reason to believe it'll be a reality. Sheesh, even 3.8 is starting to look like a possible thing to achieve based on a couple threads in this section...Awesome.

Sai, how much does that RAM cost? Have you pushed it to its limits yet? What are your temps with the Ninja? I have a Ninja and will be getting a E6600 as well so I'm curious. Also, how does the Ninja fit on the Infinity 975x?

sai
06-30-2006, 04:50 PM
270euro and it's not yet pushed to the limit. Temps are way off the real values so I don't bother even mentioning them again. Mobo's sensor is just crappy.

Which Temps at load and at idle? primestable?

sai
07-01-2006, 05:36 AM
Temps are bogus on some Bad Axes. 63° idle / 86° load :rolleyes:
I'm running 400x9 with 1,4375v for 24/7 usage so far. And I won't ive anymore volts, cause I think my Scythe Ninja is pretty much on it's limit. System uses up to 400watts while playing games!! My Opteron @2.7ghz had a max of 340watts :slobber:

Can it get more ghetto than that? *haha*
Especially check out the fan squeezed between the psu cables to cool the mosfet sinks under the big 120mm fan!!

Every time I see a Conroe related thread these days, just make me wanna jump in the wagon this august... But the money'll be tight :(
Great scores on air Sai, how do you think the CPU would fare under a "lesser" HS, say, a Hyper6?? :p:

Best Regards :toast:

As I said earlier these conroes are really hot! I'm not willing to give anymore than 1,45v for 24/7 use, the HS is already hot as hell. I made it a sandwhich cooler now with one fan blowing and one fan sucking. The air coming out is so damn warm :D

water cool baby.. water cool

E6600 @3750mhz at 1.441v = 60C load, @3809mhz at 1.488v = 61-62C load LOL

nice scores ,which strap you using? 1066 or 1333

eva2000

for badaxe anything over >370fsb is usually 1333fsb strap :)

k ,thanks eva ,im tring to work the biose out .still need a conroe though .what do you set to run 1:1 for the ram?

sai
07-02-2006, 02:10 PM
Yeah FSB1333 + 27%. BTW I'll continue posting here when it gets colder. 29° room temperature is not exactly what I call an oc-friendly environment!

nice result

but do u have to do the pin mod to enable oc options in bios??

sai

Yep. With condutive silver ink. Too lazy to solder *hehe

oh man thas why i bought P5W DH instead of Bad Axe ... and i heard without further vmod 370 is max or something.

any chance u gonan run this on ur DFI?? since ur sig suggest that u have DFI Infinity 975

3.8GHz is a very nice overclock for a E6600 -- Congrats Eva!

Don't ask me the physics and/or the results, but IMO it's worth the try :)

Great results BTW :clap: 23rd is soo far away :D

Well here I am to proof them wrong. It's about 5° colder with 2x120mm fans. (which is pretty much obvious when you think about it)

(which is pretty much obvious when you think about it)Good :) Now I remember these sites said it was hotter because the rotor circle in the sucking fan didn't allow the air to flow through there, but thinking logically, it has to work better with 2 fans :D

thanks..

Went for my new personal best 32M time. I think this is one of the fastest times under 3.9ghz and 4.0ghz at 1:1 ??
