Excellent scoring by Shamino, now we know where the line starts for the end of July ..I doubt anyone will get much higher before then, at least in 06.

You can't really enable quad SLI anywhere yet and performance is rather poor even if you do.

What do you think will be the top-end score for this setup?

prolly close to 17k with more3e cpu mhz and gpu up a lil more w a better performing board than badaxe in 3d, as i've heard the asus is faster in 3d
in any case i'm more interested to try quad to see if conroe has pulled the bottleneck high enough for quad perf to scale.

Probably Quad SLI drivers comes with G80 if not later..
But G80 Quad SLI + Kentsfield will be f***ing brutal :frag:

If G80 Quad SLI will perform better than R600 Crossfire then yes. But if nVidia wont make good Quad SLI drivers then ATI R600 Crossfire + Kentsfield will be pewnage :banana: Cause R600 probably will be the fastest DX9 chip as well.
