Hi!

My ASUS X850XT PE (AGP) is damaged. A virus messed up my operating system and ATI Tool. Got artifacts in games and ATI Tool when scanning. Reinstalled Windows XP but when I try to install any graphic drv i get a black screen when windows is trying to start. If I use windows generic vga drv I get in to windows, but installing ATI Catalyst is a no no. Any ideas on what is wrong?

Have been running core 650 MHz at 1.6 V on water. And mem 650 MHz with vddq and vmem at 2.2 V with copper heatsinks. Been running this since february 24/7. My VAGP is was at 1.8 V. When the card went bad system was "hot", gpu at 49 degrees (normaly when loaded at 44 degrees). :slapass:

I'm guessing a Cap or voltregulating chip gone bad? Any help is welcome.

Augu: Tried the drv that came with the card (dont remember version), tried CAT 5.12, CAT 6.4 and CAT 6.5. Cant get into windows when they are installed.

Andre X_X: I have not tried to lower clocks by bios (dont know how to edit the bios). Tried to flash my card with a friends Asus X850XTP agp (same card as I have) bios to find out if my bios was corrupt. Everything stay the same. Flashed the Asus X850XTP bios from Techpowerup, now card dont function at all. Need to get a PCI graphic card to flash back to org.bios.

How do I edit the BIOS file for the graphic card? What program and were in the bios? Hints?

use rabit 2.1, just slide down the core/mem speed, and save it.... the saved file is the modified bios with lower clock.....
