Any AOpen i975x users going Merom instead of Conroe?

Just curious if any current i975x-ydg owners are sticking with the platform and upgrading to Merom despite Conroe.

I am thinking about doing this partly because I will not need a new mobo, and for the lower TDP for the possibility of a silent PC.

Any idea how the latest revision/stepping ES merom chips are overclocking?

My Yonah is doing good, no need for an upgrade just because conroe or merom is a lil faster.
right now not even obilivion @ 1920x1200 max setting can drag my systems performance down
screw vista and use xp
