Cool im really looking foward to this movie. Looks like it's going to have some major drama.
I like all of Sam Raimi's movies, but I think he screwed up with the Spiderman movies. The mood wasn't right and Spiderman was miscasted, badly. Bryan Singer did better with his two X-Men movies.

Tobey Maguire is not so bad...he's better when playing Peter Parker but most of the Spidey stuff is CG anyhow so you don't notice Tobey in those scenes..
Raimi has nailed the casting of all the villians though...Goblin, Doc Ock and Sandman were all perfectly cast

Everyone ignores the fact that its the casting director that does most of the casting work for movies...
the teaser is a WEEE bit too early I think.. an entire year off and they already have teasers out... kinda silly.

I've tried watching Spiderman/X-men/Hulk/Fantastic4/whatever, but I just cannot get into them. Same old thing, time after time - and always left open ended ready for the next sequel to cash in on. Then again, the only things I watch on DVD these days are Frasier box-sets & Ghost in the Shell series; so you should probably ignore me :D

Where do you see Venom?? All I see is Spidey in his black suit (the one Venom gets later on, but nevermind), one small clip of each villian, and that's that... I'm excited about this particular movie because I watched the spiderman-comicshow when I was younger, and Venom was always my favorite :D :woot:

the alien symbiote is Venom aka the black suit...Eddie Brock becomes Venom in the comic books after he gets infected by the alien....so yeah you don't really see Venom in that trailer but you do see part of him aka the black suit

Weird I completly forgot there was a third one coming out. Really a year away ?
Its a wee bit early to start showing off trailers.
