BTW, I don't think these CPU's will be released until the official release date.

Well, I have recieved a response.

They told me that this is only a estimated date. Aparently they have the same dates and stock that IngramMicro has in Spain, so don't expect to get the processors until the official release.

In Spain you can pre-order Conroe in abyss (http://www.abyss.es/w06/productos/productos.asp?NIVEL=5&R=1114&MMCODIGOSUPPREV=&MMCODIGOSUPSEL=11140304&MMCODIGOSUP=111403&CODIGOSUP=11140304) too. I have sent them an e-mail and they said to me that they will have motherboards and Conroes at the beginning of next month.

But I don't believe that until they really appear.

Do you know more sites in Spain where you can pre-order a Conroe?

I don't think these are actually going to get to the public by then.

Our worldwide distributors can't even guarantee shipping dates until much later... All smoke and mirrors, hoping for your money IMHO.

today i gave a call to few of the local retail shops here in brussels/belgium, they all said that the date they show on pre-order is just speculative and that they are not sure on when they will really have it...but i keep my fingers crossed for 5th of july :)

Yeah, I placed a pre-order from ShopBLT a while ago. They had July 5th as ETA on Conroe E6600.

I do know the that offical release date is 23-ish. But, like you, I am having my fingers crossed.
