At last I managed to achieve 3600MHz from my glorious 1800A  :

It's just CPU-Z, but I think I can't gain anymore MHz full air! :D:D

How cool, I want one of those CPUs :D
what voltage are you at ?
what are the loaded temps?

The vcore is 1.8 (as you can see in CPU-Z ;)).
I don't know the temps, I just wanted to try to take this screenshot! :D
By the way, as soon as I took it, I shut down the system.
Damn nice OC :slobber: :toast:

Wow, I do believe that's the first 100% overclock I've seen with air cooling. Just curious, did you have the computer outside, or otherwise get really cold air going over the heatsink?
damn thats impressive!

I believe macci did it with his 1.6A :) This is a 1.8ghz though which would take a bit more in oc'ing to doulbe the mhz!

DOH :brick: not familiar with CPU-Z, so didn't look further then the CPU speed
hope you're not running it at that voltage 24/7
drop it to 1.7v to be safe, already fried one P4 2.26 by feeding it 1.8v all the time, luckily I got it RMA'ed by Intel :toast:

No, nothing so complicated! ;) I just tried at 8:30 A.M. in my bedroom with the window slightly opened. :)

Thank for your warning, but for daily use I keep this jewel at 3221 (179MHz) at 1.55v. :D

When I say "modded" I mean only that I took off the 7x7 fan and put on the copper body a 12x12 fan blowing on it. That's all. ;)

Like Mighty MouseMan said, I'm AMD all the way. But even that makes me think twice about going Intel. I've never seen those kinda numbers out of an XP, & you never will w/the heat the chips throw-off.
