I'm the old guy...and "old" is the Crossfire Setup I had....in those days of WR broken...an old AMD x2+DDR is just david against Goliath Conroe

Here's the setup:

the hot part..

Main: DFI RDX200
CPU: x2 3800+ LDBHE 0601
Ram: 2x512 TeamGroup Bh5
VGA: Sapphire 1900 crossfire edition + HIS 1900XT
HDD: Raptor 74 Gb con WinXPsp2
PSU: OCZ 520 Powerstream + Allied 500 W

THe cooling system: :p:

CPU: Dimastech single stage phase on CPU
GPU: WB OCLabs + selz25 + Rad V1 +pipes and many other silly things.
fans...everywere..

Nice lovin' 2005....rather disappointed by 2003.

Had an afternoon at home and after some hours of trcking and tweaking and "god damn ati tool..." and so on, with hot water, with compressor and evap praying me to stop it....:slapass: :slapass: I'm here:

Quite satisfied of 2005, my old personal score was less than 15k. Conroe had recently move everything in the chart...so the ORB is too distant for me

QUite disappointed by 2003....I realized I still have a good 35k done with 2 7800 GTX and sandy 3700 all on air....:(:(

Don't know If I'll have time to test 2006 too....we'll see...
Quite low clocking cards, seems to be difficult to run it so high as they can do running alone....but also this would require me time and efforts I can't spend now....

Most important thing....is to run 1 point better than before...and to have fun...and so I did....even if 26k points from Kinc and Crotale is sooooo far:woot:

Congratulations on those results.

03 and 06 are harsh on the X19 cards...

why? 3k in 3d mark 03 is not bad :).

Build a dual Evap SS and whack the hell out of those Ati heat monsters !!!

I had 35600 more or less just with 2x 7800 GTX in SLI config and a 3700+@ 3.0 Ghz...all on air....:(:(

Here comes the 2006

http://forum.overclocklab.net/images/forum/CapFTP/Recensioni/Crossfire_setup/3dm06_VGA710-785_cpu3180.jpg

really had troubles to do it. Don't know why but could not use 2x512 Team Bh5, 3dm06 crashed immediately with an error on some dx9 dll.
Had to switch to my old and beloved A-data Bh5 (2x256 only) and had no problem at all during all bench.

well....excluding some insulation problem yesterday evening...and waterpump near to die....but I've done it...wanted >10k...and I have it :D

well, such benchmarks like more nVidia than ATi... try some game tests with that 7800 GTX and with 1900 XT and tell us then the results.
and why does Smartguardian show cpu temp = 229 degree C?

Good scores and SS! Nice temp for a dual core at that vcore. Cant you use the teamgroup at all for 06 or just not at the same mhz the 2x256 ran? Me set does 06 fine.

SG doesnt read subzero. 257 in SG is about 0 degrees:

really had so few hours to play with....I saw had problem on Team...and change to A-data old Bh5. I know @ 200 Mhz Team runs...but about 240 or above crash...perhaps just matter of finding right millions of settins in bios...

S.S. is good...but don't base on SG readings on RDX200. I had it previously on DFI nf4 and temp. was higher. Anyway it's about -26 idle and -10 load ..perhaps more near zero during 3dm06 CPU test...but resist so well...:D

Nice results Cap:toast:

Hi....everything went well....still have to give a test on single HIS card...:)

which table ? you mean the wood one with wheel that hosts everything ??:D
It's a normal kitchen stuff to bring foods from kitchen to dining room...

not bad for an old man :D
Almost 3.2 GHZ on low-end X2 is something I aim for as well :toast:

I still love to see X2 benches as my compressor just came back home (but I was working grrrrr so have to get the phase tomorrow morning)

With my single X800 GTO no idea, search me at the end of the orb haha
