well, i got the opty 144 running, but i cant figure out for the life of me how to put my ram on a divider! i need to run more then 250htt, so im only at 2.2ghz right now because i am running 1/1. if someone could tell me what settings i should look for in my bios, i would appreciate it greatly as id like to hit 2.8 on stock cooler/volts if possible. ram is ocz vx4000 and i dont know how much volts to give it either:(
im a total amd noob so please take it easy on me. i do like the opty 144 though. coupled with my raid 0 setup, this really flies.

If you'r a total nub it may be best if you understood the values that people will spit out for you here, else you'll just blatantly insert them thinking they will run perfect for your system(which more than often is not the case),

It also talks alot about your memory dividers, overclocking FSB and memory also comes with tweaking memory, and seeing as you have a DFI board, you might wanna scroll down more and look at what all these commands mean(Trc, Trcd, Tras, etc etc).

got almost everything setup the way i want it, runs at 1.475(in bios) at 2.8ghz on stock cooler(quite happy) its a very fast chip. i must say it feels much faster then my pentium d at 4.2ghz and the ram(ocz vx 4000) puts out more bandwidth at 250mhz 2-2-2-5 then my ddr2-800 did at 855mhz. its a great setup, and im happy. just need to redo the case wires(very tight) and get a chipset fan because this one is too noisy. might look for a good used hsf too, tuniq tower, bt, scythe ninja or something like that.
