Just so we don't have to keep asking the same questions, I hoped we could create list of questions that should be answered when anyone posts a thread looking for help.

Most of these "What is my problem", "What is wrong", "OC probs" threads have had the same questions asked by most people trying to help.

I figure if people would just answer these questions in their posts, we could be more helpful in a shorter period of time.

Here goes the list, feel free to add anything:

Motherboard and revision:
CPU/Ambient/Case temps:
Cooling as a whole:
Processor Model/Steppings:
Multipler or FSB Overclocks:
PSU and Voltage Rails:
Type of ram:
Ram timings:
List of any mods done to the hardware:
List of any mods done for cooling:
List of all cards in the system:

The more we know about your system, the easier it will be to help you.

BTW: Mods, I am hoping for a sticky, if only to keep from asking these questions in the future;)

Thanks alot.

Consider it stickied. But unfortunately, a lot of the time, people ignore stickies ;). I think we probably have too many in the OC forum, in fact ;).

And how about;

Driver versions including;
OS/Mobo/Video/Sound/etc.

OverClocking utilities used;
i.e. Powerstrip
Rage3D
Riva Tuner
And their versions?

Just a thought.
