HELP problems with Mushkin XP4000

I have 2x512 Mushkin XP4000 memory and a dfi ultra NF4 D woth a venice 3200, now i am having major and strange problems with my memory.

Stick one

Won't pass mem test at ddr400 in the top yellow slot, it will trhow up errors in seconds @2.8v, it is now however running at 250mhz@3.4v for 5 mins and counting without any errors. Edit it is now showing errors after 50 mins, putting all back to stock and trying this stick again.


Stick two

Wont pass mem test at any speed in the top 3 slots, took it round to a friends it ran in his machine for 10 passes of mem test without problem @2.8v DDR400

Ah sorry well at ddr500 i was using

Timing 2-3-2-6
Cpu @1.525v @250x10
Ram 3.4v

At ddr 400 i am using

Timings 2-3-2-6

Cpu @1.4v 200x10
Ram 2.8v

Is that ok?

need all your settings!
if it runs fine in your machine it's either
#1 your bios setup ie you have something tuned wrong
#2 your motherboard going out
#3 your cpu mem controller taking a dump

I'd bet on #1 myself though

list all your timings and get back to us

Ok i am just running mem test at standard settings, will post settings if/when it fails. :)

Do you just want a list of all my bios settings?

Ok update, loaded optimal defaults, one memory stick passed for 2 hours the other stick failed after 5 seconds, loaded into windows with the faulty stick at the above settings (optimal Defaults) and am running prime95 which hasnt failed yet which seems strange(after 35 mins)

Try loosening trfc to 15 or 16. Also what is your drive strength at? try 2.

With my new Artip 64 Pro, which is passing so i feel there is a problem with mem test. :)
