I have been trying to record sound on BF2 for a week now, using the FULL version of FRAPS, version 2.7.3, to no avail.
I have looked through Google for a solution to my problems, as FRAPS has no tech support forum, just a basic FAQ page, and a News section that doesn't do any good hehe.
My problem is, when I record a movie of ingame footage, I get perfect picture, but no sound. I've tried everything, unclicking and reclicking record sound, adjusting the volumes of every sound device on my rig, and nothing will work.
The only thing I can think of, and this is a stretch, is that I am running a Realtek onboard chipset. Everyone or everywhere I have seen, has used a SoundBlaster audio dealy, which gives them an extra setting in the FRAPS program.
That setting is, "What You Hear", or "What you say". I don't get that with mine, mine labels what audio device it's using, and then say Stereo Mix, and I can't choose otherwise.
Any ideas folks? :(
