It appears that the only real difference between this and P5WD2-E Prem is 8 phase power along with a few minor changes. So, will you buy it in order to run Core 2 Duo?

It has only 400FSB in BIOS. If they fix this and put at least 450 I'll buy it.

Well,

over here in Germany one shop is already listing it.
And it's price tag is.......................

216,51 €

That would be cheaper than the Bad Axe.

Parlons maintenant du prix et de la disponibilité, cette carte devrait être disponible avant la fin du mois de juin pour un prix avoisinant les 300 euros.
See also this newspost with some info posted by Schlingel and me: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=101404

And I have found some norwegian and swedisch stores that have the board listed and it costs there around $300~$320...

I believe newegg had them in stock, but i am not sure of that. You can always mail them and asking which rev they have in stock ;)

You can also go to your local pc store and ask him which rev he has in stock ;)

Good luck finding one!

I don't think I will ever spend $300 on a mobo again after buying a Venus. Hopefully they will drop in price or some other nice mobo will have to suffice.

hmmm, that Mobo looks very interesting, but I'm still not sure if I should buy it :(

because a 965 will do just fine for me. I don't need CF or WiFi... afaik the NDA will end on 5th June, hopefully we will see more then! (can't wait to build up my rig...)

Seems how the 965 costs MORE than these 975s.. I'd rather have extra features. I really hope they fix this..Or that website is incorrect.

the P5B Dlx is listed in Germany for ~150€! I suppose they will be cheaper than the 975X, because it still is the high end Chipset!

I dont think it will come down a lot.

But I do believe it will come down a little.

ASUS will lower the cost as well.At first They will be made in Taiwan.

When the price comes down, they will be made in China to reduce the cost and quality.

thunderstruck!

I don`t think that mainstream mobo will cost much. Just add 3-5% to high-grade 945X from Asus
