hey guys im thinking of getting a 975x motherboard. i dont know if i should get the intel 975 or the msi when back in stock. if you have any input pleas reply. im eager after ive seen the oc on the conroe from here

I think there are like a million threads.
The only mobo thats out that supports conroe and is confirmed to support conroe is the Rev 304 Intel D975XBX.

Just wait 2 weeks and you'll have more info.

Coolaler and likewise have contacts at ie MSI..
That board is not available for "the public"...yet..
"Bad Axe" is though...

how about the foxconnn 975. it looks decent and cheap, cant go wrong for 150

that asrock lloks neat. only thing i want to know is can it overclock well, and i dont like the fact that it doesnt support ddr2 800
