I am able to team up with abo of SetFSB and the result is a SetFSB for Bad Axe :)

Advantage over ClockGen
1. Has command-line option for Start-Up OC on the fly
2. During reboot/restart (warm restart), previous OC settings "stays". However, I find that this works erratically. Sometimes it work, sometimes it doesn't i.e. sometimes after a reboot, the settings will be saved but sometimes, it reverts back to stock (i.e. 200FSB). The way I made it work (but erratically), is I tick "Ultra" and then set FSB to 210MHz hit SetFSB, and then 215MHz hit SetFSB, and then reboot. Of course, cold reboot will mean erasure of your FSB settings, unless you have a command line option at your start up.

I'm sure most of you are familiar with the command Line options, but here it is anyway:
-w[00-99] : Wait [sec] default=10sec
-s[000-999] : Set FSB [MHz]
-m[0-9] : Mode 0=normal(default) , 1=ultra
-i[00-99] : Increment [MHz] default=max
-a[0-1] : ASUS 0=none , 1=ASUS

I checked SetFSB home page (http://www13.plala.or.jp/setfsb/), and it's not updated yet but you can download it from my site here: FanBoy (http://fanboyreview.blogspot.com/2006/05/brag-dm-helps-again-with-new-oc-tool.html)

Btw, it's BETA so use at your own risk =)...also, if you found bugs, please send it to abo directly =), you can see his contact at his site.

hm, don't see the advantages like you do. clockgen can be run in "stealth mode" with auto oc at startup.

I used to do this before as well, however, from the ClockGen site:

"Q: How can I save the new clocks and apply them at startup ?
A: This new version of ClockGen does not support this feature yet. As soon as the program will be tested in a wide range and most problems will be fixed, a save feature will be added."

As for the crash and hang, yep, I encountered it as well when doing further testing. I already sent in my findings to the author and awaiting his reply...
