Intel will release a new Yonah processor at 25 june this year that only consume 9W in power consumption. The new Yonah processor will be called U2500.....

Yeah combine that with Intel's upcoming 965G integrated graphics chipset (with hardware acceleration for popular codecs like h.264) and you could build a silent, fanless, cool HTPC with a very small form factor.
No good for gaming etc... but perfrect for HTPC apps.

Didnt even look at the URL, just the 9W and thought xtreme long batt lifetime, however, yes, your right, that cant be right, thumbs up for detecting :toast:

It's actually 1.2 GHz and dual core which makes it impressive.

Thats really not bad going, ideal for tablet pcs, hell you could but one in a PDA :D

With 8x multiplier and Yonah FSB wall in mind it would just s*ck.
