Seems that many people have a lot of opinions to express about this subject, that is, what it is to have a stable system. Opinions will differ. Don't judge someone for holding an opinion. ONLY discussion and argument will be valid ways of asserting your opinion. Don't post FUD.

I figuered out, that a > 10 h Prime custom Opteron is not stable at rosetta. So, skipped Prime and went to BOINC (R@H) and 3DMarks/Aquamark...;)

1-2hrs of prime, 24/7 rosetta, games

Actually I've been moving further and further away from prime, now I pretty much just let rosetta run and play games, if rosetta doesn't produce bad wu's and games don't crash i'm good

Except for screenies of course, because of the obvious :banana::banana::banana::banana:yness of certain members

I only "need" high speeds for benchmarking, so if I get scores at the end, the computers stable at that speed for that bench.

Apart from that...if it doesnt crash during gaming, its stable.

Two hours seems enough to me too. I always let my system go past two hours, but what I'm noticing is that two hours seems to mark that point where you know your system is stable, and only prime itself can be the culprit in producing a error. Does that make sense?

if it's good enough for me, that's all that really matters...you aren't going to be using my pc right? ;)
