Don't you? Man, this is great, the laptop died (3rd time for crying out loud), and just got back from the warehouse three weeks ago. Well, today, the brand new hard drive just died, isn't that just GREAT???? I'm so sick of their bullsh*t tech support, their bullsh*t computers, their bullsh*t components.
This is absolutely ridiculous.
Rant over, still furious but had to get it out.

If their systems run, they're "average" working computers but if there is an issue - it is expensive trash. I know this, my company ordered systems from Dell before...now I'm building up the systems and everybody is happy :D

Sorry to hear about this! I've bought a refurbished Dell Inspiron for a relative and a cheap-o Inspiron for a best friend, and they're always telling me how much they love their computers. Only real problem I've had with them is the power adaptor fell apart from so much use. In both systems, they used Hitachi Travelstars which is the same drive in my Thinkpad. Everyone sells the occassional lemon I guess. :(

Get a full refund and buy a Lenovo T60.
The hard drive could be good, but the motherboard and power supply could be cr@% and may be the main cuase of the problem. Dell is a crappy company, IMO. They just buy the good work of other companies, and pair it with cr@#%y stuff, so its practically useless and a waste of money.

all Dell does is take their sticker and stick them on OPP if you know what i mean.
