KD7E above 212fsb ?

I can't seem to get the KD7E above 212 fsb, was curious if anyone could give me some information on what it might take. I already replaced the northbridge cooler, is there any other specfic that might need to be cold or something to help out ?

ummm get a maxtor hardrive?

the 1/5 divisor will really kill your hardrive at over 40mhz

I am not worried about the hardrives, had them to 225fsb with 8K3A+.

Burnin, burnin and more burnin. Mine needed the memory absolutely error free to run higher. The twinmos stick I'm using isn't the best performer of the lot, but after well over a month of steadily increasing FSB I'm up to 226 Sandra stable and 224 3dmark01 stable (at least for a bench run).

If I get any memtest86 errors, it won't boot at that FSB. YMMV, but that's what it has taken to get there for me.

First slot. That slot also gets a nice wash of air from the overhanging 80mm fan on the SLK800. Everyone keeps saying how their memory gets hot at high (3+ volts) but mine is never much more than body temp *after* long burnin.

Also, running a WD200BB on this kd7e, NP so far...

Yea I am running the WD200BB on a hpt rocket raid 133 have one as boot drive an the other drive is ghost of main drive. 1 is 3yrs old an the other 2 yrs old an never give me a problem. I have tortured them an the keep on running. Probably set them up in a raid array once I figure out the quirks with the mobo, only had it for a week. I like it better than the 8RDA+ I have an without the vdd mod to that board it only runs 212fsb. If my 8K3A+ had the use of multipliers like this KD7E with the newer chips, I would still be running it. The NF2 boards have not impressed me. I am waiting on a kt400a either abit or epox to come out.
