this was already posted a couple times i believe, the merchants aren't supposed to post these chips until the 23rd i believe. i could be wrong.

i still feel its a waste of money. i hope i'm proven wrong by the results we will see in the near future though. i would love it if these AM2 crushed the 939, but i doubt it.

That is indeed wrong, AMD's roadmap reports that the FX-62 is clocked at 2.8Ghz.

Quite expensive...
I`m almost sure 2x512 Windsor´s are 1.3v and 2x1MB 1.4vCore. There will be two 3800+, one single core (Orleans), and also a 5000+ (2.6ghz/512x2)

There is no way AMD will be selling the FX line for above 1000 Dollars/Euros after Conroe hits the shops, not because Conroe will be faster, but because Intel will have much more competitive prices and AMD will have to follow through. They are only reeping huge profits now on 1k$ processors untill Conroe arrives. It's almost a preparation for a price war that will likely come later on.
