Finally, Abit! A nice looking motherboard, and a monster NB cooler, but- do you think it would interfere with some of the larger aircooled heatsinks out there? It looks like a TRUE may have problems fitting on that board, if the NB cooler is tall enough.
hhhmmm love it , makes me think off all the mods i needed to do on my AI7, AB9 and IP35 PRO .
hope fsb clocking will rock , though i like the non heatpipe crap cooling . just a freaking big cooler so u can easy replace it with what u want

Now ya see here son, this is what we call a dead thread, it died as no one was interested or no one had info for it, or the authore found the info and decided to let the thread die.
So we burried it, gave it a funeral and let it lie in piece.
Now what ya have don here is Necrothreaded it back into the living realm disturbing its grave and its peace! Why boy
why? The poor thread has suffered enough! Let it rest!!
Naw. 1.6V + whatever offset gives = should be enough (1,9 - 2,1V I'd guess).
I am more worried about that 5 phase digital PWM we all know so well. I do hope they didn't use the exact same solution as with the IX38, even though the layout seems identical.
The IX38 coudln't hold more than 80A for longer periods of time, I killed 2 of them in 2 weeks with only 1,32V Vcore but folding 24/7...

As a matter of fact, they are..
Just checked and it seems that both the IX48 GT3 and the IX48 Max are in stock all around here (not just 1 shop but like 10+).
What exactly is the difference between these 2 anyway? The Max costs only a few € more at 167€ compared to the GT3 at 161€...

I tought the MAX was for DDR2 while the GT3 is for DDR3 , right ?
edit: mmm confusing on my mind some talk about DDR3 for both board and some talk about DDR2 for the MAX version ?
It seems i have a strange board then, mine can't hold vcore at all. It jumps for +-0,02V around the set value no matter if the cpu is loaded or idle. No wonder I have stability problems.

have same motherboard abit ix48 gt3 and its suxx on mem dividers hope abit will fix this problem.
