tighten your ram up 1000mhz 5-5-5- ?? nooooo
    4-4-4 @ 2.2v or 2.25 or 2.3v
ballistix will do 1000mhz 4-4-4 easy.
plug the cas4 will help your times.

    =( my ballistix don't do 4-4-4 @ 1000Mhz with 2.25V
They'll do 5-5-5 @ 2.2V 1000 just fine, but for 4-4-4 I need to juice it quite a bit more

That said, my system is already pretty darn fast even when I don't have it clocked to the max, right now I'm doing 1066 memory and only 2.66Ghz CPU just because I got tired of hearing the stupid heatsink, lol.

1.56v is to much for 4GHz

my new E6750 can do it with "only" 1.40v (on P5K-E)

Thought I'd post screens of some godlike E6750 from a swedish forum:

    http://aycu31.webshots.com/image/282...3577914_rs.jpg

The funniest part is that it only need 1.475v to be stable at 4GHz. Swedes are often lucky with steppings it seems, 3.8GHz seems like a pretty normal result for 24/7 usage for E6750.

EDIT: Wow Chri$ch, seems like these G0 CPUs keeps getting better and better. Can you try and push it further than 4GHz to see how far it goes, like if 1.5v is used, would be appriciated. Hope Penryn will follow a similiar pattern.

    I remember when E6600 @ 3.6GHz 1.4v on air/water was godlike, these days it seems we're getting E6750/E6850 4GHz @ 1.4v.

i tried 4.1Ghz but if the cores reach over 60°C the sys reboot

for SuperPi it can do 4.32Ghz @ 1.60v.

I think i must remove the IHS to get better temps....

Edit: max FSB with Multi 6 & 7

LOL, 60C would be fine if it's accurate, my E6750 @ 3.75GHz 1.52v goes up to ~68C in Orthos but is stable nonetheless.

Wow 565 FSB at 7x. Mine does only about 7x505 stable at most but at 6x multi it does at least 515+ with stock mobo, cpu etc. volts even, any ideas why it's like that? I mean 7x505 is only 3.53GHz and it's stable at 3.75GHz at 8x multi and then I've tested up to 515 FSB at 6x multi and it was rock stable with every volt settings @ stock? Any reason for that? I don't get it why it doesn't go above 7x505.

yes, my old E6750 (4Ghz @ 1.424v) had no problems with 70°C to run stable, but
only @ 4Ghz! But if i tried 4.1Ghz or more give it problems over 60°C (prime failure
    or reboot).

Mine's very old too, about 2 weeks after official launch but seems for that time mine was fairly good. But today it's a bit depressing seeing these 4GHz results.

If E6850 was maybe prioritized with good silicon at G0 launch, it seems now they have such a nice production rate for G0 stepping CPUs, they can really ship almost only good samples of any model and chip these days. That's my guess and perhaps we're now starting to surf on the edge of the wave when it comes to G0 stepping, I can imagine when Penryn arrives, these G0 results will slowly start decreasing again like E6600 today is a good example of when some does even barely 3~3.1GHz! So if you wanna break WRs with current gen then now's the time to pick your babies!
