International Overclocking Championship in Austria
this will be fun. looking forward to meet you guys

(CET). Representatives of 8 different European countries - from Romania to Spain - will match their skills in SuperPI 1M and go for a world record in 3DMark Vantage afterwards.

The following teams are going to participate in the International Overclocking Competition:

Austria: EmineM/Jackinger & Turrican/n3ocort3x
Finland: SF3D & Sampsa
Greek: gprhellas & hipro5
Latvia: Sam & kiwi
Romania: Monstru & Micutzu
Slovenia: tiborrr & Moonman
Spain: Predator & DaCoSa
UK: Bustah & Dualist

If you can not come by yourself, you'll be able to watch the event live:

i think a few guys from the neighbouring countries, which were asked had no time and unfortunately we are limited to 8 teams, so we couldn't get all we wanted.

but i'm sure in the next event different countries/guys will be invited/participate.

Vantage:
#1 Team Greece: 41.9k+ (4x 5870 @ LN2)
#2 Team Finland: 38k (4x 5870 @ LN2)
#3 Team Austria: 37k+ (4x 5870 @ air)
#4 Team Slovenia 33k+ (2x 295GTX @ stock)

Vantage competition was a great experience. A lot of HW sharing happened in order to obtain the best possible score, no jelaousy, only true benching spirit. Team Greece benched only for 20 minutes. If we would have another hour I am sure Vantage WR would fall, I am sure!
