Good numbers but can surely be better You WILL get the 3DMark06 WR if you can push the FSB a bit higher, preferably at PL6. What board are you using? Also will you show us some Vantage?

you cannot understand how frustrating is to stay away just 249 point from the goal, but trust me, we had a really hard night with those bad girls

well Elmor, you know more than any other people here about my expereince with those nice beasts. We had some issue with driver, clocks, compatibility. i don't wanna speack about that now, because i alwayse suppose that is my fault, not hardaware/software/driver problems, I need to study more.
We started to bench yesterday 3:00 pm, stopped today morning @ 7:00 am ( I'm stepping to bed now ).
I'm not fully satisfied about the results, we didn't have no more time\energy to use some 8600 for 01\03\05.

For that test we used ASUS P5E64 WS Professional, just because we know this mobo really well.
We'll swap soon to Rampage Extreme .

About Vantage, you'll see some numbers by the end of the week, we had a strange issue with CALICO, always crashed ( even @ 3.6 gg) .... I'm investigating

Yeah, I know ofc. Just some suggestion on how to improve, scores are already good Get some sleep and try again, that should improve things a lot

Good luck with the continued testing and hope you've solved your issues!

    Impressive Giorgio!

The drivers are a pain-in-the-ass at the moment (at least, that's what I heard going around) and you really, really need a damn fast cpu to get the X2's unleach all power. Since you've dealt with all those problems, you should be proud you still managed to only miss the WR by such little margin. Good luck on your next try!

Im interested in buying two of these, from benchies, some of the benchies seem to have great scaling and some seem to not even work and give negative performance...

Judging from this it seems its working nicely!
Can you by any chance get your qx9650 to 4.2 and see what the 3dmark score is LOL!
