Gainward 8600GT & 8500GT Golden Sample (P)REVIEW

I haven't tested the video cards very much, but until now I have this:


8600GT:

3D Mark 2001 - 49942 - second place on HWBot.




3D Mark 03 - 20695 - first place on HWBot.




3D Mark 06 - 5942 - fifth place on HWBot.




8500GT:

3D Mark 2001 - 28400 - fifth place on HWBot.



3D Mark 03 - 12965 - third place on HWBot.

A few scores, with different frecvencies.

CPU: Core 2 Duo E6420 @ 3600 MHz.
Mobo: abit AB9 QuadGT.
Mem: Team Group TXDD1024M800HC4DC (2*512 MB, Micron D9 GMH ICs), 4-4-4-4-2T.
PSU: Corsair CMPSU-520HXEU.
OS: Windows XP SP2 daily-use, no tweaks, just with closed programs.
Drivers: Forceware 158.22 WHQL.

Doesn't work. Reinstalled it three times and nothing.
Downloaded it from Futuremark... I can only publish online the scores, without seeing them. WTF?! o.O

I have no ideea, I didn't had that board to make some comparisons.

But dsaraolu tried to help a bit and posted some results with his 7900GS and overclocked E6400. So I think we can say that 8600GT is slower than 7900GS. o.O
