It took a while for me to finally place my buildlog here.
First a little background info of how I came to this project.
After reading through the buildlog of Daniel's Murdermod here on XS and discovering MDPC I knew what my next project would be.

Since I already started a buildlog for this project on another forum at the end of April, I could easily fill quite a few pages with pictures of all the gear.
But I will focus on putting updates on the case itself up first and spread out posting the pictures of the gear over the next few weeks.
So lets get started .
A 3mm ALU sheet.
One of the 3mm ALU sheets after it was bend.
To assemble the bend ALU sheets I use 10x20mm ALU bars.
After cutting the bars I pack them together so I can cut them all simultaneously under a 17 degree angle. After which some filing is done to remove the saw marks.
Then we continue with some drilling, tapping and more filing.
Wet Filing
Testing the Tap.
Lets assemble it.
Next are the side panels. These were cut quite badly having a 2.5mm difference in width on opposite sides of the sheet.
So those needed to be filed down a lot.
6 or so hours later they were filed down to the correct size.
After which it was yet again time for drilling and tapping.
So far Part 1 of the Case .
A lot more to follow .
