I go to buy one HD3870x2 and looking for one cooler, 2xZalman VF900 is a good option?
Cooler stock of the 3870x2 is good? It compensates change it for 2xZalman vf900?

could you write it again ? I'm not really sure if I can understand....
I suppose you want to know if there are any aftermarket coolers for 3870x2. Well I'm not sure but you can use 2x Zalman vf700 or vf900

just 2 zalmans wont do it there are other parts on the card that need additional cooling.
.:: Core i7 920D0 4Ghz :: Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 :: OCZ Platinum 3x2GB DDRIII :: Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme+Zalman ZM-F3 BL Push/Pull ::.
.:: Powercolor HD5870 :: LG L226WTQ-SF 22" :: Corsair HX850W :: WD Velociraptor 300GB / Areca Arc-1210 4TB [RAID5] ::.
Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but I'm looking for a solution for my loud 3870x2's right now. I know that in this picture, the chip with the blue arrow needs cooled well. Would a simple BGA ramsink do the trick? Does the chip in between the GPUs need a heatsink?
Thanks

Wow, that's quite an interesting design. I do believe that simple memory heatsinks will do perfectly fine. But make sure you cool all those mini chips. Last thing you want is overheating...
