the wire that you are to hook to the power botton in the computer take it and use one of those jumpers that are used on mobo(for jumping pins) and use it to jump the pins on the wire that goes to the power botton then take it off right away or the display on the controllor will not work right and if you wish to call me my phone number is 519-453-8819 now i don't know what time it is where you are but here it is 11:30pm so if you get this msg to late then i might not be up but if i am not up you can call tomorrow other then that do you have a manual for this controllor and do you know what version it is if i can find my copy i will try to send it to you if not could you not just un hook the compessor from the controllor and run it that way and when you get it recharged then just hook it back up
