    Time To Upgrade?

    Okay, currently I'm running
    2x 8800 GTX's(650Mhz).

I was considering buying 9800GTX XFX BlackEditions(750mhz each)
or even going for a single 9800GX2 XFX BlacKEdition(forgot clock)

whats the gossip on these new cards that are supposed to be released, worth waiting? Or just go ahead and buy one of those two(if so which do you guys think are better??).

Ahead of time, thanks for the help.. Stock in between a rock and a hard place with this one!

Don't bother, your duel 8800s are fine for now. The new nvidia cards will be out between June 16-20 I hear, so wait until then.

Just wait your 8800GTXs still outperform the 9800GTXs at high resolutions.

keep your cards. Nvidia's GT200 is due in June. the rumor mill says they'll be around the level of a 9800 GX2, but who knows. the rumor mill also said the 9800 GTX was gonna be a 1 TeraFLOPS card and it wasn't.

Sounds like a decision then, lol.

I'll stick with my 8800GTX's... Actually, I just OC'd them today; they're seem pretty stable at 650mhz, 61*c. I would've thought I couldn't push it that far on stock cooling. I finally took the time to put on my DuOrb's, each both dropped down to 53*C under load, and fans at the end to push the air out of the case(my only personal problem with the DuOrb's is the empty hot air into the case..).
